The Housing Authority of the City of Paris will open the list for the Section 8 Housing Assistance Program for one (1) day; Wednesday, October 10, 2018 from 8 am until 5 pm. Applications may be picked up prior to this date, but will not be accepted until the waiting list is opened on Wednesday, October 10th.

Applicants who are already housed by the Paris Housing Authority (current Public Housing tenants) are not eligible for Section 8 and their application will be rejected.

Applicants must be income eligible and pass the Authority's screening and background check. Drivers Licence or photo ID, Social Security Card, and a CERTIFIED birth certificate (not the hospital certificate with the footprints) are required for all family members. If you need help purchasing birth certificates, contact the following prior to October 10th.

Position on the waiting list will be determined by the date and time of application and preferences established by the Authority.

Former tenants must be in good standing with the Paris Housing Authority and all other Housing Authorities. Applications received from persons who have been previously evicted from the Authority's Programs within the past 6 years will be rejected.
